Le Coq rolls out order verification across its 11 sites

Charcoal, chicken cooked just right and a chain that wanted the same standard leaving every site. Photo verification gave them that and, along the way, one less step on every Glovo order.

Le Coq logo

Le Coq is a bold proposition built on charcoal and flavour. The product comes first: meat cooked exactly right, charcoal chicken kept juicy and recipes drawing on flavours from around the world. And all of it has to arrive at the customer's home intact.

What changed in Le Coq's operation with Bronze?

Le Coq brought Bronze Tracker into 11 of its sites and reached high coverage on order checks. Computer vision verification substantially reduced delivery mistakes, and refund disputes, both automatic and manual, are now handled from Bronze Hub with the photo of the order as proof. The effect shows up in each site's profitability.

The challenge: fewer incidents without adding work

Despite a strong run of form, Le Coq had a clear and difficult goal: reduce order incidents and tidy up operations without adding steps for a team already stretched during the rush. Any extra check that cost time on the pass was ruled out from the start.

The solution: a photo that also closes the order

With Bronze Tracker rolled out across 11 sites, the order is shown to Bronze before it is sealed. The screen highlights in colour whether something is missing or everything is correct, so the check takes a glance and never breaks the rhythm.

The part the team appreciated most was not the detection but the integration: taking the photo automatically marks the order as ready in Glovo. One manual step less per order, multiplied by every order in the shift.

Claims are handled from Bronze Hub, where every dispute is filed with the evidence from the order, some automatically and others reviewed by hand when the case calls for it.

The results

  • Fewer delivery mistakes: catching them in the kitchen stops them reaching the customer.
  • Disputes won with proof: unwarranted refunds are challenged with the photo of the order.
  • Time saved on every order: the Glovo integration removes a manual step from the process.

In Le Coq's words

Bronze has proved to be a key tool for streamlining our day-to-day work. We noticed significant improvements from the start. The feature that highlights in colour whether an item is missing from the photo or everything is correct helps us spot mistakes quickly and put them right. The Glovo integration has also been a big time-saver, because once the photo is taken the order is marked as ready automatically, with no manual intervention.

How to replicate it across a chain

With several sites, the value is not only in verifying: it is in being able to compare. With photo coverage, mistakes caught and disputes for each site in the same dashboard, operations conversations stop running on impressions.

And if cancellations are more of a problem in your sites than refunds, start by understanding which cancellations count against you.

Tell us how many sites you have and we will prepare a pilot with the ones you choose.
