Privacy policy

This document (the “Privacy Policy”) sets out the terms governing the processing of personal data (the “Personal Data”) carried out as a result of your access to and use of this website, owned by Bronze Technologies, S.L. Anonymised information and purely statistical data are not considered Personal Data.

The Personal Data requested in the forms on this website is generally mandatory in order to fulfil the purposes for which it is requested; if it is not provided, or not provided correctly, those purposes cannot be fulfilled, without prejudice to your being free to view the content of the website.

1. Who is the data controller?

Bronze Technologies, S.L. (“BRONZE”), a Spanish limited company with tax ID B-01888072 and registered office at Calle Valencia 88, 4º-1ª, 08015 Barcelona, Spain. BRONZE is the controller of the personal data you give us through the forms on this website or by any other means, of the data obtained through the relationship you have with us and of the data arising from your use of the website, which we measure only in aggregate (see section 4).

2. What personal data do we process?

  • Identification: first name, surname, login for the Customer Area.
  • Contact: mobile phone number, email address.
  • Professional: company, job title, work email and work phone number.
  • Use of the website (aggregate measurement, without cookies): pages viewed, language, referring website, scroll depth and clicks on contact buttons, without identifying you. We do not store your IP address, we use no cookies or persistent identifiers and we build no profiles.
  • Origin of your demo request: when you submit the contact form, we store with your request the page you sent it from, the language of that page and where the visit came from (campaign tags or referring website).
  • Communications: comments, opinions, enquiries and requests.

3. Where does your data come from?

  • Data you provide yourself when accessing and using this website and its services.
  • From aggregate measurement of website use, without cookies (see the Cookie Policy).
  • From third parties: forms on third-party sites where we advertise our services.

If you provide us with Personal Data relating to third parties, you warrant that you have informed them beforehand and obtained their consent for their data to be disclosed to BRONZE. BRONZE may verify that consent by means of a non-commercial verification email. You will be responsible for the consequences of any breach of the above.

4. For what purposes do we process your data?

  • User registration: creating a registered user account.
  • Managing access to the private Customer Area: credentials, support and platform maintenance.
  • Responding to information and contact requests received through the website forms and other communications, and following up and filing them.
  • Recruitment: receiving speculative job applications.
  • Aggregate audience and usage measurement: knowing how many people visit the website and which pages and buttons they use, in order to improve it. No profiles and no identification of you.
  • Attribution of demo requests: knowing which page and which channel each request comes from.
  • Compliance with legal obligations: support, handling complaints and managing rights requests.

5. What is the legal basis for processing?

  • User registration: consent, or the legal relationship between the company you work for and BRONZE.
  • Customer Area: performance of the services contract.
  • Information and contact requests: the data subject's consent, which may be withdrawn at any time.
  • Recruitment: the data subject's consent when voluntarily submitting an application.
  • Aggregate audience and usage measurement: BRONZE’s legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) in understanding and improving the use of its website. We weigh it as follows: the data does not identify you, there are no persistent identifiers or profiles, we do not store your IP address, and you can object with your browser’s Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, with the button in the Cookie Policy or by writing to us.
  • Attribution of demo requests: the same legitimate interest, applied to data stored with a request that you choose to send.
  • Legal obligations: compliance with the obligations incumbent on BRONZE.

6. Who may we disclose your data to?

We only make the disclosures necessary for the stated purposes or required by a legal obligation: (i) IT and infrastructure service providers (hosting, CRM, emailing services, etc.), including PostHog, the processor of the website’s aggregate measurement (PostHog Cloud EU, Frankfurt; under a data processing agreement with standard contractual clauses incorporated (Art. 28 GDPR)), and (ii) public authorities. Every disclosure is made with the necessary legal safeguards and under specific contracts with our providers, as the regulations require.

7. Is your data transferred outside the European Union?

Measurement data is processed in PostHog’s European Union region (Frankfurt). Because PostHog is a provider belonging to a group headquartered in the United States, any access from outside the European Economic Area is covered by the Standard Contractual Clauses in its data processing agreement. Beyond that, no international transfers will take place, other than hosting on servers that may be inside or outside the European Economic Area. Transfers to countries not considered safe will be protected with appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

8. How long do we keep your data?

For as long as strictly necessary for the purposes for which the data was provided, the performance of contracts with BRONZE and the statutory limitation periods. Where processing is based on your consent, until you ask for erasure, object or withdraw your consent. Aggregate measurement events are kept for 12 months and deleted afterwards; the origin of a demo request is kept for as long as the request itself is kept.

9. Your rights and how to exercise them

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, portability, the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing (including profiling) and the right to withdraw consent. These are free of charge and may be exercised at any time:

  • By writing to [email protected] from the email address you registered with, stating which right you wish to exercise.
  • By clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing communication you receive from us.

Aggregate measurement data cannot identify you, so we will not be able to link it to you to deal with an access or erasure request; to avoid being measured, use the options described in the Cookie Policy.

We will only ask for additional information to verify your identity if we have doubts about it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency, the supervisory authority in Spain. If you live in the United Kingdom or France, you can also complain to the ICO or the CNIL respectively.

10. Security and confidentiality

We have adopted appropriate technical, physical and organisational measures to safeguard and secure the information we collect and to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure.

11. Changes to the Privacy Policy

This policy may be updated as a result of legal changes or improvements to our services; we recommend reviewing it periodically.
